Treatment

Treatment is up to 40mins for both initial and return consultations.

Each treatment session is a personalised, one-on-one session that usually includes:

• Discussion about your areas of pain, your movement goals and medical history 

• A physical assessment, which may include orthopaedic or neurological testing where clinically indicated 

• Hands-on treatment that is tailored to your individual problem 

• Education about your condition

• At-home management strategies and/or exercises

Wear comfortable non-restrictive clothing eg. Exercise tights. A gown will always be offered! You will also be expertly draped with a towel throughout your treatment session.

Private health rebates

Depending on your level of cover, your private health insurance may cover a portion of your osteopathic treatments.

Medicare rebates

Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP)

Your GP will assess your eligibility for a CDMP in order to claim a rebate under Medicare. If you have been referred to our services under a CDMP, please share a copy of your referral prior to your appointment.

Cancellation policy

When you book an appointment, an appointment is reserved in our schedule exclusively for you. We understand life happens, however please provide 24 hours of notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment - so someone else in need can receive treatment.

Full session fees apply if cancellations or reschedules are made within 24 hours of your appointment time, or if you do not attend the appointment.
